"A Tranquil Location"
but still just minutes to drive to Blue Flag Beaches, Golf, Shops, Bars, Restaurants, Cities etc etc...
Where & What to do.
If You Can Be Pulled Away... Villa Malvarosa is a 5 minute drive to the nearest small shop and the nearest supermarket is less than 10 minutes. Chiclana offers all the normal facilities, Banks, Cash Machines, Lots of different Shops, plus a great daily market where the freshest fish (not Sun and Mon) and meat is available, along with great vegetables and fruit. Unless you have a basic grasp of Spanish, take a phrase book, or be prepared to do a lot of pointing!
Food & Restaurants.
You’ll be spoilt for choice! You'll find plenty of different Restaurants around from the beach front selling the freshest fish to the mountains where you’ll experience rabbit, veal, pheasant etc. along with the normal meat options. And dont forget those Tapas bars.... Go where there are plenty of locals, you'll not be disappointed!
Towns & Cities.
The oldest City in the world, Cadiz is less than a 30 minute drive to the city center. Approximately an hour and a half drive, you'll be in the center of Seville. Also about the same time, but in the opposite direction you'll find Gibraltar, & all that duty free shopping!! 45 min away in Tarifia you will find ferries that will take you to from Southern Spain to Tangier in North Africa.
Golfing in the Costa de la Luz.
Very close is the golf paradise of Sancti Petri an ideal destination for any golfing all the year through. You'll also find plenty (well over 20 at the last count!) of other world class golf courses very close to Villa Malvarosa.
Beach's.
There are some fantastic beaches (over 130km of them!) the nearest being approx 2km away, of which has the blue flag award. The Costa de la Luz (Coast of light), the western part of the Andalucía coastline faces out to the Atlantic, the sand is finer and a more golden colour than the neighboring Costa del Sol & the Mediterranean. The typical beaches here are more expansive and usually backed by sand dunes and pine trees. Perfect for family holidays.
