Only just over a 2 hour flight from the UK, you will find Villa Malvarosa in authentic Southern Spain, near Chiclana de la Frontera which is situated in Cadiz, a province of Andalucia, Southern Spain.

The area includes outstanding naturally beautiful beaches and sand dunes, you will also find other natural attractions like pinewoods and salt flats, plus many monuments in the Cadiz bay.

Within the the province of Cadiz, the heart of Andalusia, you will find Sherry and "bodegas", flamenco, bulls and horses, "white villages" and natural parks.

Villa Malvarosa is to be found in a very quiet rural area which is approximately 30 minute drive from the nearest airport, Jerez. The Villa is just off a main road you will find it far enough away, not to hear any major traffic.

Even though situated in a position, that is off the beaten track, the Villa is within a few minutes drive from local bars and restaurants, with the main town of Chiclana De La Frontera only ten minutes by car, plus you will find Cadiz the oldest City in the Europe only about 20 mins away.

Approximately an hours drive from the Villa, you will find other attractions in the Andalucia, area, the stunning City of Seville, Gibraltar, Jerez, Conil & plenty of small authentic Spanish white villages.

Plus a must, if you have children, about 45 min away in Tarifia, you will find boats that will take you out in to the straights of Gibraltar to visit the whales & dolphins. Also in Tarifa you will find ferries that will take you to from Southern Spain to Tangier in North Africa.

Also very close is the golf paradise of Sancti Petri which is ideal, as the mild climate in the Costa de la Luz converts the region into an ideal destination for any type of sport, including fishing, diving, boating, sailing, golfing all the year through.

Beaches near Villa Malvarosa

There are some fantastic beaches approximately 2km away, all of which have the blue flag award. The Costa de la Luz (Coast of light).

This is in the western part of the Andalucía coastline that faces out to the Atlantic. The sand is finer and a more golden colour than the neighbouring Costa del Sol & the Mediterranean. The typical beaches here are more expansive and usually backed by sand dunes and pine trees. Perfect for family holidays. This part of the coast has not seen the high-rise hotel development of other areas like the Costa de Sol.

October 2006 : This is the 4th time we’ve used Malvarosa with our friends. As always we were very well looked after & the Villa continues to improve. The garden has had some trees planted along with other plants, which makes the whole experience so much better. The evening lighting makes the Villa so much better. Relaxing around the pool in the sun lounges just makes you want to return. We have travelled the world, however the beaches here are the cleanest we have found & the kid’s love playing there, that’s if we can drag them away from the pool! The restaurants & bars are very Spanish & it’s great exploring all the small towns & villages as well as the main areas of Chiclana & Cadiz. No doubt we’ll be booking next year for our 5th trip! "
